Toshiba HD DVD Bows Out

HD DVD and Blu-ray, these are terms that you’ve probably read about in the news lately. These two are the competing disc formats in the industry today. However, very soon there won’t be competition any more. HD DVD which is being produced by Toshiba will no longer be on the scene. It is all over the news right now that Toshiba is bowing out from the disc format arena. Blu-ray by Sony will be the one to take the lead.

It’s sad luck for me. I haven’t even tried the HD DVD and now it’s going to disappear from the scene. Oh well, maybe it’ll have to be Blu-ray when I buy a disc player…someday soon.

Excited About PayPerPost

I’ve always loved writing because this is one way that I can really express myself, all those inner thoughts that I can’t seem to voice out to anyone. That is why I am so glad that there is this blogging thing. And you know what is more? Aside from having a sort of emotional and mental release, blogging is now also a way for me to earn. It’s true! PayPerPost gives this kind of opportunity. I’m really glad my friend Dex introduced me to PayPerPost because this is an excellent way for bloggers and advertisers to meet and work together for each other’s benefit. Talk about blogging about the things I love and getting paid for it too! Now I can have more ways to improve my financial situation because PayPerPost has very competitive rates for every opportunity they feature.

Writing is usually associated with burn out, however, that won’t be with PayPerPost because they have diverse opportunities that you can choose from. And aside from the monetary reward, you can also get satisfaction from being features as top blogger of the month, that’s if you really work hard to get each opportunity given at PPP.

I’m really excited to proceed with my blogging with PayPerPost. Maybe if I work hard I can be top blogger of the month too! It's so cool to get paid to blog.

Tinker Bell Crystal

When I was a little kid I loved watching Peter Pan. This Disney movie was one of my favorites back then. I watched that movie over and over again...sadly the tape got damaged. In my opinion, Peter Pan is one excellent kiddie movie, oh and we even have a book of that. I loved the characters there, especially the fiesty Tinkerbelle, who got jealous of Wendy. :-) Tink's really cute.

I'm not the only one who loves Tinkerbelle, Swarovski seems to like her too. Check the Tinkerbelle products they have. They have Tinker Bell necklace, bracelet, hair clip, mobile phone accessories and pendant. There's even one that looks just like a paper weight Tinker Bell.

They are absolutely pretty:-)

Almost Real Dog

Willing to Spend Millions for a Cell phone?

You know what, I still get surprised sometimes why some people don't seem to be content with the things they own, like the cell phone. I just heard my sister last night that she intends to upgrade her phone pretty soon, and to think that she only got her aleady high-end Samsung phone late last year. And that's just talking about a few thousands, what more when the figues climb to millions? Would you spend millions for a handset? There is such cell phone now, aptyl named Le Million which costs 1.43 million dollars! Imagine that!
What makes this expensive? well, it is made up of red, yellow and white gold that is imbedded with 120 carat diamonds, WOW!!!
Better just keep in the vault!

Choc FLavored Strawberries, Anyone?

I'm not a big fan of strawberries. They just look good, but for me, the taste leaves a lot to be desired. But when they're presented like this, they make my mouth water. hhmmm...yummyyy... Makes me want to have a whole box!

Girly Ebook from Sony

I love to read. This is one of my favorite past time activities. Though at the present time I don't have much time to read anymore because I'm all work at the moment.

But maybe if I have an Ebook I'll be able to take up this hobby of mine again. There are several popular ebooks availabe nowadays. There's one from Amazon.com, from Sony and lots of others. My interest is caught up by the new offering of Sony. Their Ebook is now available with a new skin, see? It's called "Cross Your Heart" vinyl skin. More girly isn't it?

What Roses Tell You

Valentines Day is almost upon us once again. This is the perfect time to get romantic and of course, to shower your loved one with gifts!!! Don't know if you'll agree with me on that.

It's a fact that flowers, particularly roses, are the most common type of gift being given on Valentines Day. The roses come in different colors. But do you know each color signifies different meanings? Read this if you don't want to be mistaken in the color of roses you'd like to send on the 14th.

Red Roses - Red roses proclaim "I love you." They are the ultimate symbol of romantic love and enduring passion.

Yellow Roses - Yellow roses indicate friendship and freedom -- so don't send them if your intentions are romantic and long-lasting. Yellow roses are also appropriate for sending congratulations to newlyweds, graduates.

Pale Pink Roses -pale pink roses connote grace, gentleness, and gratitude.

Light Pink Roses - A joy to behold, light pink roses express fun and happiness.

Deep Pink Roses - Deep pink roses say "Thank you."

Lilac Roses - Lilac roses indicate the sender has fallen in love at first sight with the recipient and is enchanted.

White Roses - Pure white roses symbolize truth and innocence. They also send other messages: "I miss you" and "You're heavenly.

I found this picture over at Yahoo Photos. The owner is making her dog participate in a Yoga session. i love dogs and i simply sympathize with this mutt's predicament. He (or maybe she) is probably dizzy being held up in that kind of position.

It's Chinese New Year!

Yes it is Chinese New Year once again. Actually, i don't take much notice of this celebration, it just so happens that i hear and see a lot about it on TV. This year 2008 is going to be the Year of the Rat. I actually don't know what my Chinese zodiac is, so I made a little bit of research. It seems I was born in the Year of the Dog. Here are the traits of a person born under this animal sign...well this is according to the Chinese.

Year of the Dog
1922, 1934, 1946, 1958, 1970, 1982, 1994, 2006

People born in the Year of the Dog possess the best traits of human nature. They have a deep sense of loyalty, are honest, and inspire other people¡¦s confidence because they know how to keep secrets. But Dog People are somewhat selfish, terribly stubborn, and eccentric. They care little for wealth, yet somehow always seem to have money. They can be cold emotionally and sometimes distant at parties. They can find fault with many things and are noted for their sharp tongues. Dog people make good leaders.
